Dentist Near The Parkway

Convenient Access from The Parkway

Trail-loving households in east Folsom are about 7 minutes from The Folsom Dentist. Our Folsom office sits on Hana Way off East Bidwell Street, and Dr. Brad Coons provides everything from checkups to dental implants there. If a bike spill or a cracked molar has you looking for a dentist near The Parkway, help is a short drive west on Blue Ravine Road.

Begin at Econome Family Park on Parkway Drive North and leave the lot heading west toward Blue Ravine Road. Stay on Blue Ravine Road west for roughly 1.2 miles, then turn left onto Oak Avenue Parkway, heading southwest. At East Bidwell Street, turn right and follow it north to the signal at Hana Way, for a trip of about 2.9 miles.

The office address is 785 Hana Way Ste 201, Folsom, CA 95630, and our Google Maps listing shows the final turn. Mercy Hospital of Folsom sits just north of Hana Way and makes an easy landmark. Neighbors in Empire Ranch to the east and Willow Creek Estates to the west are patients of ours as well.

A Practice That Suits The Parkway's Active Pace

The Parkway is a master-planned neighborhood in east Folsom, within Sacramento County, laid out along Blue Ravine Road and the Humbug Creek corridor. Planned as The Parkway at Blue Ravine, it covers about 612 acres with roughly 2,100 single- and multi-family homes. More than a third of the residential planning area was kept as natural habitat, which leaves plenty of open, green space between the streets. That open space shapes daily life for residents of The Parkway.

Trails are the neighborhood's signature. About five miles of paved and decomposed-granite paths follow a restored creek corridor, linking mini-parks, community parks and a school. Those trails were the first phase of the longer Humbug-Willow Creek corridor, and Econome Family Park on Parkway Drive North serves as its northeast trailhead.

Families also know Elvie Perazzo Briggs Park and Folsom Hills Elementary, which sit near each other on Manseau Drive. Phillip Cohn Park on Prewitt Drive is another trail parking point, with Oak Chan Elementary close by. Briggs Ranch and Lexington Hills border The Parkway, and El Dorado Hills lies farther east.

Protecting Teeth in a Trail-and-Park Neighborhood

When kids spend their afternoons on scooters, bikes and playgrounds, dental injuries come with the territory. A fall on a paved trail can chip a front tooth, crack a molar or loosen a tooth in its socket. Adults who ride, run or play pickup games face the same risks.

Parents in The Parkway sometimes ask whether a chipped baby tooth matters. It does, because a damaged baby tooth can affect the adult tooth developing beneath it. An exam and x-ray show what is going on below the gumline, so you know whether the tooth needs care or simply needs watching.

Quick action makes a difference. Save any broken piece, rinse gently with water and call our office as soon as you can. New patients receive a free emergency exam and x-ray, and we strive to fit you into our schedule when an injury happens.

Many trail injuries can be repaired with a crown, and our CEREC system can complete a crown in just one visit. When a tooth cannot be saved, Dr. Coons can remove it and replace it with a dental implant placed in our own office. Guided surgical placement, planned with CBCT 3D imaging, helps him position each implant precisely.

Prevention still does most of the work. Regular cleanings and exams keep teeth strong enough to handle the occasional knock, and they let Dr. Coons catch hairline cracks before they spread. For Parkway families with kids at Folsom Hills or Oak Chan, a twice-yearly checkup is a simple habit worth keeping.

Care from Your Dentist Near The Parkway

  • Restorative Dentistry

Chipped, cracked and worn teeth can be rebuilt with crowns, bridges and other restorations. Prompt repair after a fall often keeps a small break from becoming a bigger problem.

  • Preventative Dentistry

Routine cleanings, exams and x-rays catch decay and cracks early. Busy, outdoor families appreciate how much trouble a short checkup can head off.

  • Dental Implants

An implant replaces a lost tooth from the root up and does not rely on the teeth beside it. Our page on the dental implants process walks through each stage, and new patients can book a free implant consultation.

  • Crowns & Veneers

A crown protects a cracked or broken tooth, while a veneer can restore the look of a chipped front tooth. Both help an active smile look and work the way it should.

Adults in The Parkway often come to us for different reasons than their kids do. A molar lost years ago, a crown that has started to fail or an old bridge that no longer fits can all be addressed here. Because implants, crowns and extractions happen in one office, a resident of The Parkway can move from consultation to finished tooth without being sent across the region.

Insurance, Membership & Financing

We accept many PPO insurance plans and take care of filing the claims. For families without coverage, the In-Office Membership Plan includes two cleanings, two exams and annual x-rays each year, plus 10% off all services. Implants and other larger treatment can be financed through CareCredit, Proceed Finance, Cherry or Sunbit.

What Patients Are Saying

Frequently Asked Questions

How far is The Folsom Dentist from The Parkway, and how do I get there?

Econome Family Park is about 2.9 miles from our office, roughly a 7-minute drive. Head west on Blue Ravine Road, southwest on Oak Avenue Parkway, then north on East Bidwell Street to Hana Way. That keeps a dentist near The Parkway within easy reach for both checkups and unexpected injuries.

What counts as a dental emergency?

Severe tooth pain, swelling in the face or gums, a knocked-out or loosened tooth and a badly broken tooth all count. Call us right away if any of these happen. New patients receive a free emergency exam and x-ray, and we strive to fit you into our schedule as soon as possible.

Do you place dental implants in your own office?

Yes. Dr. Coons places dental implants here, using CBCT 3D imaging and guided surgical placement to plan each one. He also offers full-arch fixed teeth for patients missing most or all of their teeth. New patients can book a free dental implant consultation to learn whether an implant fits their situation.

What advanced training does Dr. Coons have?

Dr. Coons takes continuing education through the Kois Center in Seattle. He also completed advanced oral surgery training at the University of the Pacific for wisdom tooth extractions, and he is trained to provide IV sedation. That training lets him handle more procedures in our office instead of referring them out.

Will I see the same dentist at every visit?

Yes. Dr. Brad Coons is the dentist at our practice, so he oversees your exams and treatment from one appointment to the next. Over time he gets to know your teeth, your history and your goals, which makes it easier to spot changes and plan care that fits you.
